Ichi – whose name means „one" in Japanese – is our discovery matcha. It delivers everything you'd expect from a matcha that's good, beautiful and accessible. Ichi invites you on a journey between the elegance of Japanese tradition and the creativity of the modern world, embodied by the matcha latte.
Its name is a nod to the Japanese philosophy of Ichi-go Ichi-e („one time, one meeting"). In the spirit of cha no yu (the tea ceremony), every bowl is an invitation to savour the moment.
Available in a 30 g airtight tin and a 90 g refill pouch.
Terroirs of excellence
Behind its emerald-green colour lies precise know-how. This delicious ceremonial-grade matcha is built on a subtle blend of tencha from two of Japan's iconic terroirs: Kagoshima and Shizuoka.
Crafted from 10- to 40-year-old tea plants of the Saemidori and Yabukita cultivars, harvested in spring and autumn, it offers a balanced taste and a vibrant green powder.

Suggestion of preparation
Step 1
Take 1 teaspoon (or 2 spatulas) of matcha
Step 2
Sift it into your bowl
Step 3
Pour 5 cl of water heated to 70 °C and whisk vigorously in a w-shape until you obtain a smooth and frothy texture.
Step 4 (optional)
Add 10 cl of milk for a latte (optional)
Storage advice:
To preserve the quality of this delicate tea, it is best kept in the refrigerator once opened. Consume within 45 days after opening.
