Artisanal excellence that enriches your experience

The name „Sensai" embodies the sophistication of this matcha bowl, whose allure emerges from its understated elegance. Its creamy white glaze showcases thickness variations that unveil delicate shifts in tone, ranging from pale blue through to soft grey. Featuring a gentle tactile surface and a striking individual presence, it incorporates a carefully designed pouring spout that enables the flawless and accurate transfer of matcha after whisking.

Its time honoured spherical form lends itself wonderfully to both the preparation and savouring of matcha.

A ceremonial vessel for matcha preparation

Matcha is a green tea whose leaves have been finely ground into an exceptionally fine powder. It is whisked rather than steeped, requiring a whisk, a bowl and a measuring spoon. To experience matcha's full luxurious creaminess and gentle flavour, consume it immediately upon completion of preparation.

1. Add 2 scoops (equivalent to one level teaspoon) of matcha into the bowl.
2. Pour 5 cl of water warmed to 70 °C onto the powder.
3. Secure the bowl in one hand and vigorously whisk the matcha using the bamboo whisk in swift, continuous movements (forming a „W" pattern on the bowl's interior) until a rich, creamy foam emerges.

Ready to drink! To make a matcha latte, incorporate 10 cl of milk (dairy or plant based), first aerated using an electric milk frother.
