Description
Thé des Moines, inspired by ancient legend
In Tibet, an age-old tale speaks of a monastic community who, with utmost discretion, crafted a blend of tea, herbs and blooms. Following several days of soaking, the tea leaves were delicately separated and reserved.
Via this enigmatic alchemical process, the monks transmuted tea into treasure and bestowed upon Thé des Moines its distinctive bouquet.
The origins of Thé des Moines
Mathias Minet, co-founder of Palais des Thés and architect of fine aromatic teas, drew his vision from the elusive, rare fragrances emanating from the timeless mixtures of Tibetan monks. Pursuing that concealed alchemy capable of producing instant serenity, he blended together green and black tea leaves with flower petals (jasmine, marigold...) to create this intensely aromatic composition. Marked by its decidedly floral character, this tea beckons one to steal away to far-off realms and to surrender oneself, during a quiet moment, to reverie.
Sample the complete splendour of this uncommon floral blend, offered in loose leaf or muslin sachets, and experience a sensory adventure of unparalleled beauty.
