Description
A Korean roasted tea inspired by the traditions of Japanese hojicha
Experience a roasted tea from Korea, carrying forward the heritage of Japanese hojicha. Tea plant twigs and leaves gathered during spring are finely minced and then roasted at elevated temperatures to bring forth profound, irresistible flavor notes.
An amber, silky infusion displaying prominent woody, vanilla and fruit characteristics. A scarce and exceptional find that will appeal to those who appreciate whisky.
This tea is cultivated through organic practices and holds certification from a recognized independent testing authority.
The Choi family, five generations of craftsmanship
Since 1937, Yeong Gi Choi has maintained the family legacy in the Boseong region of southern Korea, working alongside his wife and children. Their endeavor yields limited production, predominantly organic in nature: various infusions alongside outstanding green, black and dark tea varieties.
