Kabusecha by Susumu-San

Harvested in Kagoshima, Japan, this spring tea (ichibancha) is a kabuse. The tea plants were shaded for several days before plucking to develop its umami flavour. It is crafted by master artisan Susumu-san from the meiryoku cultivar.
