Description
A Grand Cru renowned for its intense vegetal aromas and remarkable freshness.
This Ichibancha comes from the island of Tanegashima and is crafted from Shimamidori, a cultivar native to the island. Its name literally means "Island Green", and it was developed from Yabukita seeds.
A spring Sencha with a delicious umami character, revealing marine and buttery notes layered over a beautifully intense vegetal profile.
Suggestion of preparation
Hot infusion:
Using a tasting set or a teapot, steep for 3 minutes in water heated to 70°C (158°F).
Iced tea preparation:
Using a teapot or a pitcher, infuse 8 g of tea leaves in 50 cl (500 ml) of room-temperature water for 30 minutes. Remove the leaves, then refrigerate.
