Description
Wild tea trees of exceptionally challenging terrain
This remarkable black tea originates from wild, centuries-old tea trees, established at 1,500 metres elevation. Reaching these remote tea trees demands twelve hours of trekking along demanding slopes, through pristine terrain where a crystalline river meanders.
Song Dem translates as "night river" in Vietnamese, in reference to the nocturnal river crossing undertaken by harvesters as they transport the recently gathered leaves.
A luxurious black tea delivering cocoa, honeyed and fruity character, reinforced by a rich and full bodied texture.
This tea derives from certified organic cultivation, verified by an accredited independent testing organisation.
The mastery of the Dao
This black tea emerges from the skilled hands of the Dao: consummate weavers working in brilliant hues, they channel their full expertise equally into tea cultivation and preparation.
