Description
A powerful, deeply woody black tea
It was in the 19th century that Sri Lanka turned to growing tea to succeed its coffee plantations. A singular character then took shape under the historic name of Ceylon, whose name means "lion", the country's national symbol.
A Ceylon of character, with powerful tannins and intense woody notes. Perfect in the morning for an invigorating wake-up, it is among the most full-bodied of black teas. It is, moreover, excellent with a dash of milk.
