This Chinese green tea infused with spearmint leaves captures the essence of Moroccan mint tea, offering a refreshing and thirst-quenching experience.

In Morocco and throughout the Arab world, the serving of mint tea has long been woven into the fabric of refined hospitality and the principles of gracious living.

Suggestion of preparation

To prepare hot tea:

Use 6 g of tea leaves for 30 cl of water heated to 75 °C. Infuse for 4 minutes.

To prepare iced tea:

Use 16 g of tea leaves per litre of room-temperature water. Infuse for 30 minutes, remove the leaves and refrigerate.

The traditional Moroccan recipe:

In the Moroccan tradition, mint tea is sweetened. To prepare it, add rock sugar to your brewed tea to taste, along with fresh mint leaves.

When serving, it’s customary to pour the tea from a height above the glass, this aerates the tea, giving it a frothy texture and more intense aroma. Each successive serving becomes sweeter and more astringent.
