Description
A wonderfully aromatic white tea from China whose name means "white peony", with characteristic vegetal, floral and hazelnut notes.
Bai Mu Dan is traditionally harvested at the beginning of spring, the pluck combining buds and the first leaves of the plant. Unlike Yin Zhen, which consists exclusively of buds, Bai Mu Dan has a fuller tannin structure that gives it a powdery texture and a long-lasting finish on the palate. With its fresh vegetal and floral aromas, it is the perfect introduction to the subtle and complex world of white teas. This spring tea is produced from the famous Fuding Da Bai cultivar from Fujian.
