The Seigaiha washi tin

Heir to Japanese craftsmanship, our washi tins are covered by hand with traditional mulberry-bark paper.

This tin features paper adorned with the Seigaiha motif, Japan's emblematic wave. Born around the 8th century, in the Nara period, this motif is a powerful cultural symbol evoking harmony, protection and tranquillity. The green background lends it a springtime note.

A precious case to give (or keep)

In the Land of the Rising Sun, "wa" means Japanese and "shi" means paper; "washi" therefore translates literally as "Japanese paper". But since "wa" also means harmony and peace, washi is likewise the paper of harmony.

Two washi tin sizes

Fitted with an inner lid, the washi tins guarantee teas and herbal teas are kept in perfect condition. They come in two sizes: around 100 g and 150 g.
