Description
The Usagi washi tin
Rooted in Japanese craftsmanship, our washi tins are individually dressed with traditional mulberry paper by hand.
The rabbit, known as "usagi" in Japanese, embodies luck and renewal. Featured on this tin surrounded by tall grasses and cherry blossoms, it honours the arrival of spring and sunny days.
A treasured vessel to gift (or enjoy)
In the Land of the Rising Sun, "wa" denotes Japanese and "shi" denotes paper; "washi" therefore literally means "Japanese paper". Yet "wa" also expresses harmony and peace: washi is hence the paper of harmony.
Selecting a washi tin pays tribute to both the tea and its recipient. A genuine treasure box adorned with symbolically rich designs, it serves as an exceptional, enduring gift, ideally suited to preserving every tea variety in optimal state.
Two washi tin options
The washi tins feature an inner lid that guarantees teas and herbal infusions remain in perfect preservation. Available in two options: approximately 100 g and 150 g.
Tin measurements:
100 g = 12.4 x 6.5 cm
150 g = 15.3 x 7.5 cm
