The washi tin with flowering clouds
Rooted in Japanese artisan traditions, our washi tins are hand covered with classic mulberry bark paper.
The paper displays golden cloud formations set against a softly green, yellowish and lightly pink surface. This balanced palette of colours combined with the fine floral patterns that adorn the cloud shapes bestow upon the tin an exceptionally delicate and refined presence.
A treasured vessel to present as a gift or savour yourself
In the Land of the Rising Sun, "wa" denotes Japanese and "shi" denotes paper; "washi" accordingly translates to "Japanese paper". Yet "wa" simultaneously embodies harmony and tranquillity: washi is therefore the paper of harmony.
Selecting a washi tin pays tribute to both the tea itself and the recipient. It is a true decorative container brimming with symbolically meaningful patterns, making it a distinctive and enduring present that excels at properly storing every variety of tea.
Two washi tin options
The washi tins include an interior lid that provides optimal preservation of teas and herbal infusions. They are offered in two versions: approximately 100 g and 150 g.
Tin measurements:
100 g = 12.4 x 6.5 cm
150 g = 15.3 x 7.5 cm
