Description
Picked in spring high in the Chinese mountains, this Mao Feng reveals floral, mineral and hazelnut nuances that unfold over a refined, powdery texture.
Harvested in Hubei province, it bears the name Mao Feng — a designation reserved for premium teas rich in buds. Its leaves are gathered by hand in spring and then gently twisted in the classic manner of Chinese green tea craftsmanship.
Grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an approved independent inspection body, Jade Mao Feng is an excellent successor to organic Mao Feng Imperial and organic Yuncui Imperial, both now discontinued. Crisp and graceful, Organic Jade Mao Feng leans more floral and fruity than Imperial Mao Feng and is rounder on the palate than Imperial Yuncui.
