Description

A genuinely distinctive Batabatacha. In contrast to the Toyama variety, the Itoigawa version undergoes no fermentation. Blended from 40% classic Bancha, 40% Chamaecrista and 20% Daizu (soybean), this represents an exceptionally scarce tea!

Pronounced roasted character marks this tea, complemented by notes of coffee beans, grain and robust liquorice, supported throughout by marked sweetness.

Suggestion of preparation

With the tasting set or a teapot: 5 minutes in water heated to 195°F.

This tea is also delicious iced : steep 8 g/0.4OZ in 50 cl of water at room temperature 30 min. Remove the tea leaves and refrigerate
