Description
Crisp and revitalizing, Sencha Ariake is a Japanese green tea displaying a vegetal, subtly iodized profile, most agreeable in the morning hours. An excellent gateway into the realm of sencha teas.
Each June, it is picked from the Yabukita and Okumidori cultivars.
Sencha represents among Japan's most celebrated teas. The distinguishing quality of this tea family stems from how the leaves are crafted into thin, needle-like forms. Whether enjoyed piping hot or refreshingly cold, it offers pleasure at any time of day.
It complements grilled fish wonderfully, such as red mullet, sea bream, sea bass and salmon, and proves equally compatible with crustaceans and mollusks including prawns, scallops and clams. For those drawn to sweeter flavours, Sencha Ariake serves as the perfect accompaniment to red fruit mousses or sorbets.
