Ingredients

Oats (Avena sativa)

Common throughout Central Europe, this grain is principally enjoyed as flakes, such as in granola or porridge. Its gently toasted character also makes it a favoured base for plant based milk alternatives.

Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum)

Called black wheat by some, this knotweed family member flourishes even in demanding climates like Brittany. The seeds are eaten as whole grains, roasted, or ground into flour for making traditional galettes. The toasted hazelnut undertones are treasured especially in pastry work.

Pear (Pyrus communis)
