Description
Crafted entirely from stems, this vibrant green tea stimulates the taste buds with an initial iodised character that transitions into vegetal flavours and concludes with subtle minty undertones.
Originally cultivated on Kyushu, an island positioned in southern Japan, this tea thrives in the region's famous volcanic terroir, which offers exceptional growing conditions for tea plants.
Kukicha's production method is remarkably distinctive: rather than utilising leaves, it is created exclusively from plant stems, resulting in negligible caffeine content and minimal tannin levels.
Whether enjoyed hot or served over ice, from sunrise through sunset, it complements both desserts and substantial dishes with equal grace. A distinctive and multi dimensional tea that merits exploration!
