Description
This loose-leaf Pu Erh Sheng originates from Yunnan and carries the name Mao Cha, presenting an aroma that showcases apricot alongside mineral and vegetal characteristics. Spring harvesting takes place on the slopes of Da Xue Shan mountain, where indigenous tea plants thrive.
As a dark tea variety, it possesses the capacity to evolve gracefully with age without losing quality. Practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine recognize numerous beneficial properties in dark teas: they aid digestive function, help purify the system and mitigate alcohol's effects. This is a tea suited to regular and unrestricted consumption! To experience its full aromatic spectrum, successive infusions prepared via the time honoured Gong Fu Cha technique are advised.
