As a dark tea, it belongs to the shu pu erh category, where fermentation is expedited, unlike sheng pu erh which unfolds gradually over time.
It is crafted by the Dao, renowned for their expertise in creating brightly coloured woven textiles, whose talents equally shine through their tea cultivation and processing methods.
