Traditional calabash

A gourd steeped in custom, the calabash plays a central role across South America in the preparation and enjoyment of mate. It originates from a natural squash that undergoes drying, hollowing, and exposure to open flame, resulting in its characteristic brown coloration. This particular specimen has not undergone any artificial colouring.

Handcrafted individually in Argentina, each calabash exhibits unique variations in both form and tone.

A subtle smoky scent may be present initially but will dissipate naturally over subsequent uses.
