Le Temps Retrouvé is a composition designed for the afternoon, built from an organic blend of two single-origin teas – sourced directly in their producing countries for their distinctive aromatic and olfactory identity. This comforting, original blend brings together a Chinese black tea from Yunnan, with subtle woody and honeyed notes, and a Japanese roasted green tea, Bancha Hojicha, with its toasted character.

Among all the moments of tea drinking, the afternoon is one for a comforting, gourmet pause, when one allows oneself – for an hour or just a few minutes – to take some time for oneself. Low in caffeine, Le Temps Retrouvé suits this moment perfectly and can be served until late in the afternoon, to accompany a book or to enjoy a pastry in good company.

This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.

A tribute to Marcel Proust

This tea is directly inspired by the famous experience Marcel Proust describes in the first volume of In Search of Lost Time, in which his narrator and alter ego tastes a sip of tea mingled with a mouthful of madeleine; childhood memories at his Aunt Léonie’s house come flooding back to him in an involuntary reminiscence and an unexpected sensory nostalgia.

This composition is a subtle tribute to the pleasure of tasting and to the taste for memories of simple pleasures.
