Description
A tea from Yunnan, harvested from Da Ye tea plants, that unveils notes of honey, fruit and leather. Rounded and aromatic, it can be enjoyed throughout the day.
Yunnan black teas are also known as Dianhong Cha, which can be rendered as "red tea of the kingdom of Dian". Dian is the ancient name of Yunnan province, while "red tea" refers to the colour of the beverage — in China, what we call "black tea" is referred to as "red tea", in reference to the copper hue of the liquor.
A delicious tea to pair with breakfast or afternoon tea, as well as with dishes featuring meat or mushrooms.
