Description
South African Detox is a pleasurable infusion that combines the cleansing and draining effects of three regionally characteristic plants, namely rooibos, honeybush and moringa, together with the refined taste of African mango. Savour it equally as a hot or cold beverage.
This blend comprises:
• rooibos: a shrub found solely in South Africa, producing an infusion completely free from caffeine. Its advantageous effects on wellbeing are well documented: a robust antioxidant, abundant in mineral salts, that facilitates the removal of harmful substances.
• honeybush: this close relative of rooibos, also grown in South Africa, has been utilised for centuries by South Africans owing to its therapeutic characteristics. Its blossoms emit a honey scent, giving rise to its charming name. Wholly caffeine free, it holds flavonoids (antioxidants) that promote elimination and bestow draining qualities.
• moringa: called the "miracle tree" throughout Africa, this exceptionally nutritious plant featuring emerald coloured foliage ranks among the superfoods. Inherently abundant in antioxidants, vitamins, key amino acids and minerals, it proves excellent for gently purifying the body and aiding weight management.
• African mango: sometimes referred to as wild mango, it bestows a refined, tropical character.
This tea is prepared using organically farmed ingredients and carries multiple organic certifications: AB label, European Union organic label, Ecocert organic certification, and the USDA Organic label.

Suggestion of preparation
To prepare hot rooibos:
Infuse 15g of Organic South African DETOX in 1L of water at 95°C for 5 min.
To prepare iced rooibos:
Infuse 16g of Organic South African DETOX in 1L of water at room temperature for 45 min.
When the infusion is ready, place the liquor in the fridge to cool.
To prepare latte rooibos:
Steep 8g in a mixture of 25cl of water at 95°C and 25cl of hot milk for 5min.
