Description
This delectable oolong hailing from Java unveils sophisticated floral and vanilla fragrances that emerge within a silky, creamy mouthfeel.
The Indonesian archipelago, blessed with its elevated mountain ranges, mineral-laden volcanic terrain, remarkable biodiversity and warm tropical weather, creates exceptional growing conditions for tea cultivation. Produced with moderate oxidation levels, this oolong flourishes at roughly 1,000 metres on the slopes of Mount Halimun. Its cultivar originates in Taiwan, and its flavour character alongside its rolled pearl-like leaves evoke the celebrated Dong Ding from Nantou.
Savor it throughout the day.
Produced under organic methods and bearing certification from Ecocert, a recognized independent certifying authority, Jade Oolong represents a compelling substitute for Dong Ding, production of which will soon cease. The organic Jade Oolong echoes Dong Ding's aromatic composition while displaying notably stronger floral characteristics – and offers an invitation to discover a fresh terroir: Indonesia.
